Justin Moore Really Wishes He Could Master This One Thing Around His House

Justin Moore can do a lot of different things. But the one thing he wishes he could do is build things, a skill he sadly doesn't have - at all.

"I wish I was a better craftsman at building stuff," Moore says. "It would take me very little to get better because I'm awful. There's a lot of math involved, and I'm not a fan of math. But I have friends, for example, that can just think of something that they want in their yard or in their house and can just do it. It makes my mind want to explode to even think about it. I wouldn't even know where to begin."

The 41-year-old admits that even going to a home improvement store does little to improve his lack of handyman skills, unfortunately.

"I'd go to Lowe's or Home Depot or something, and I wouldn't even know what to ask for or what sizes or," he says. "I'm terrible."

Justin Moore Has A Hit Single With "Time's Ticking"

Moore may not be able to build stuff around his house, but he has plenty he can still do, including writing and recording hit songs. The Arkansas native currently has a Top 30 single with "Time's Ticking." The song is from his This Is My Dirt album.

"It's pretty simple," Moore tells Billboard, speaking of the song's message. "Live life to the fullest, and try to take advantage of every moment you have, whether it be with your family or with your career. Make the most out of every single day."

Moore likely has years and years of success in country music ahead of him. Still, the 41-year-old concedes it's the lack of knowing when his career will start winding down, which at least partly inspired him to record the song.

"You never know when the last [single] you're going to have is the last one you're going to have," Moore says

"So I'm trying to put out music that will stand the test of time, and I believe this song has that opportunity," he adds.

Moore wrote "Time's Ticking" with Jeremy Stover, Randy Montana and Will Bundy. The song follows Moore's Top 5 hit, with the title track.
