But at the beginning of April, Brown did divulge that he had completed a 60-day fast, likely the start of his rigorous six week program.
"I just did a 60-hour fast," Brown shared at the time, showing off a photo of the food he used to break his lengthy fast. "First meal, chicken and broccoli. Notice I did not touch the barbecue sauce. Put a little pepper on there. Felt like my throat was about to close up for some reason. I don't know. Maybe I'm in my head. But, I'm about to be a lean, mean, ripped machine. Let's get it."
Kane Brown's Mental Health
Brown is prioritizing his physical health, but he is also prioritizing his mental health. Brown recently bravely opened up about his own struggles, in hopes of helping others.
"The hardest thing right now is just because I'm going through it," Brown tells American Songwriter. "And I have a beautiful family that I need to be here for."
Brown includes a song, "Haunted," on his latest The High Road album. It's a song he sings with Jelly Roll about his own battle.
"I'm still haunted," Brown acknowledges. "I still have all these crazy feelings of hurting myself and doing the worst things. Money does not solve your problems."
Brown hopes that by releasing a song like "Haunted," it will remind others that they are not alone.
"I hope it will give awareness to other people," Brown reveals. "One of the main things is actually talking about it. If you don't talk about it, that's what makes it dangerous. If nobody knows, nobody can help you."
