Keith Urban Doesn't Actually Keep His Awards, Reveals Where He Stashes All of Them

Winning awards can be one of the biggest highs an artist can acquire. It can exist as tangible proof of all the hard work they put in with their music. However, depending on the artist, that hardware collects quick. There's multiple institutions you can receive that prestige from and it can fill up a room pretty easily. Consequently, someone like Keith Urban doesn't even want to deal with the hassle. So what does he do?

Apparently, this is an 'out of sight, out of mind' kind of situation. Evidently, keeping it in a dedicated room or in a basement or a garage is far too close. Moreover, it's not even readily accessible in the U.S. either. Instead, he'll keep it somewhere he knows they'll be taken care of accordingly: mom's house in Australia.

Keith Urban Keeps His Awards With Mom in The Land Down Under

Recently, Urban spoke on Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, where the hosts try and picture where all of his awards are placed in his house. However, to their surprise, Urban breaks the news that they aren't in his house. They're not even at his wife Nicole Kidman's house either. Instead, his momma has them perched up at her place. "Over the years, I've sent a lot to my mom up in Queensland [Australia], she's got them on display there, it's really nice," Keith shares.

However, there is one prized possession he takes a bit of pride in to keep at home: the ACM Triple Crown Award. It's a particular honor dedicated to the special artists who pulled off winning three of their most illustrious awards. Those include New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year (Male, Female, Duo, or Group), and Entertainer of the Year.

This stands alone as his crown jewel accomplishment Keith feel empowered to spotlight at home. Urban says, "It's one of the rare ones that I actually put on the piano. I don't have trophies out anywhere, but that one I put on the piano in the middle of the living room."
