Kevin Costner Breaks Silence About 'Yellowstone' Finale And Luke Grimes Feud

Kevin Costner has spoken out both about the Yellowstone finale and his apparent feud with co-star Luke Grimes. His answers were naturally straight to the point and clipped.

DailyMail.com obtained a video of someone approaching Kevin Costner in Aspen. He immediately asked Costner for his thoughts on the end of Yellowstone, a show with which he's had a complicated history.

"I'm not even thinking about that," he said, "I don't think I've given it any thoughts, we'll just let it go."

It's clear that Costner wants to leave Yellowstone behind, and rightly so. The series has ended, and he wants to set his focus on other horizons (pun intended).

Given how online spaces and the media have also waxed lyrical about alleged bad blood between him and show writer Taylor Sheridan and Luke Grimes, he probably associates the show with bad press, mixed feelings, and a headache. So the last thing he wanted was a stranger running up to him asking him about the show.

The use of 'we' here is also him saying 'please stop talking to me about this d--n show.' And it may be about time for Yellowstone fans to let Costner go, no matter how much they miss their John Dutton.

Kevin Costner Also Speaks Of Luke Grimes Feud

Another hot topic in the Yellowstone community has been Luke Grimes' apparent feud with Kevin Costner. Grimes has been pretty vocal on how easier it was after Costner left.

The Kayce Dutton actor also recently said that he hasn't been in contact with his on-screen dad since his exit.

The journalist also asks Costner whether he's spoken to Luke at all, to which he responds, "No, we're done talking." Although that line may be misconstrued as Costner saying that he's done talking with Luke, I took it to believe as him saying that he's done talking to the journalist.

It should be expected that Luke Grimes and Kevin Costner haven't spoken to each other. I'm sure actors don't keep in touch with every co-star they work with.

Although the Yellowstone cast felt like a family off-screen, at the end of the day, they are just colleagues. Colleagues that have now parted ways.
