Lainey Wilson Drops Surprising New Hints About Her Wedding Dress

Lainey Wilson is dropping some surprising new hints about her wedding dress. Wilson, who is notorious for her bell bottoms, already said she would wear a dress when she marries her longtime boyfriend, Devlin "Duck" Hodges. But now, Wilson admits she has no idea what she wants her wedding dress to actually look like.

"Honestly, from what I've heard from other brides, you can plan all you want," Wilson tells Taste of Country. "But once you try the dress on, you'll know which one is which."

Wilson was asked if she wanted the dress to at least resemble bell bottoms. It's a seemingly easy question, but one without an easy answer, according to Wilson.

"I could go into it saying 'Yeah, I kinda want it to resemble bell bottoms,'" Wilson says. "But who knows, I might come out there looking like Cinderella!"

Wilson has been vocal about what she is going to wear when she walks down the aisle.

"I'm going to wear a dress," Wilson shares on The Kelleigh Bannen Show. "I hadn't done the whole dress shopping. We haven't even picked a date or anything like that. We got some time, but I figured, you know what? I hadn't worn a dress for him yet, and I guess that would be the day to do it."

Lainey Wilson Opens Up About Her Wedding Planning

Wilson and Hodges got engaged in February. Six months later, Wilson reveals they still have a lot of planning to do.

"We still have not planned it, bless his heart," Wilson tells Taste of Country.

"It just seems like everything else is getting planned," she adds, referring to tour dates, albums and more. But just because they don't have much planned, the two still love to talk and dream about their big day.

"Of course we sit around and talk about what we would want," Wilson says. "Just trying to figure out is it big or small? Is cousin so-and-so coming? Is cousin so-and-so not?"

Wilson does divulge that they will likely incorporate horses into their wedding. She also says they will probably have jazz music instead of country, a nod to her Louisiana roots.
