Not a lot of artists can make that smooth transition into acting. As much as they can perform for a crowd of thousands and dominate a stage, something doesn't translate on camera. However, Lainey Wilson always felt natural with her screen presence. Even in interviews, she always had this magnetism about her, a strong gravitational pull to her orbit.

Consequently, it's no surprise that she thrived in her role on Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone. She has a natural authenticity to her that helped her fit like a glover. Moreover, he's a director that really maximizes his actors and actresses on set though. However, television is a different beast than the world of film. It's totally understandable if Lainey feels a bit of nerves as she prepares to join Universal's adaptation of Colleen Hoover's hit novel Reminders of Him. However, apparently, she's not even blinking at it. Instead, she's ready to devour the role.
Lainey Wilson Has No Nerves About Acting in Her First Feature Film
Recently, Wilson spoke with Entertainment Tonight, revealing that she's already filmed her parts on the upcoming film. Ultimately, she was just happy to take on a role that differs from her day job. "We did, we already did. I'm done with my part. This is the first role that I've got to do where I wasn't a musician. It was so much fun. After I did 'Yellowstone,' I was like alright, what's next? And for me the next thing was playing a role that was not a musician," Lainey explains.
Additionally, Wilson shrugs off any nerves that might've come with this huge opportunity. There was no time to feel any trepidation, she was far too eager to knock it out of the park. "You know what, I was not really that nervous, which is really surprising. It's probably my mama's prayers," Lainey says. "But I felt like, alright, you know, they called me about the opportunity and trusted me with this so I guess it's time for me to trust myself too."
