Luke Bryan has had a very decorated and celebrated career in country music, and there's one thing about his no. 1 hits that "freaks" him out, even now.

Strangely, it's just how many there are.
When Luke Bryan sat down with CMT earlier this year, he spoke on just how many successful songs he's released. He shared that the thought is overwhelming and that he struggles to accept it.
"I've tried to approach my career in the business to never take a day for granted [and] never take a hit song for granted," he said. He was just reminded that he had scored his 31st no. 1 song with "Love You, Miss You, Mean It."
"To hear you say 31 is really hard for me to wrap my brain around," he admitted. I mean 31 is a lot of songs, let alone hit songs. That's like three albums' worth of number-one hits. It's a ludicrous thought.
Luke Bryan Says Sheer Amount Of Hits Overwhelms Him
Luke Bryan mentions how it's his fans that have made this incredible list possible, however.
"It's a testament to the fans supporting me throughout the years," he said. "And whether I'm onstage or writing music or recording songs, I just always try to put them first and make sure I can do a song that relates to them."
Fans are the lifeblood of an artist's success, and he knows this.
"'Love You, Miss You, Mean It' certainly feels like it has been, and to have it be number 31, pretty crazy," he said.
"When I go back and look at the list of 31, it freaks me out."
And I don't think it'll stop at 31, however. Luke Bryan has touched on retiring before, and it's not looking like he wants to stop any time soon. I'm sure he's got some more top hits squirreled away somewhere.
"I don't wanna keep talking about it, because I'm scared the steak's going to end," he joked. Something tells me he doesn't have to worry about that.
I'm going to say it now. I reckon he'll reach 39 no. 1 singles in his lifetime. There is no data to influence this assumption, it just resonated the most with me. I suppose I'll check back in a few decades to see if I was right.
