Don't cross Luke Bryan. The 49-year-old was recently hit by something on stage during his show. He now says he wishes he could have confronted the person who committed the dangerous act in person.

"You hope that you can see who did it," Bryan tells Taste of Country. "I mean, if I saw him throw it, I could have gone right to him. I probably would have jumped right off in there."
Still, Bryan now says it is probably good he didn't see the perpetrator, for the safety and well-being of the other concert attendees.
"If I jump off in there ... there were a lot of little kids down there," Bryan says. "At that point, if I'd even stopped it and pointed somebody out, it kills the vibe of the show."
Bryan was performing his 2011 hit "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," when he was struck in the face. He looks visibly perturbed before continuing with his performance.
"It's the last song of the night," Bryan recounts. "It was a big ol' fun party, and I think one person just took it too far."
The Georgia native knows he is, sadly, not alone in facing injury during his concerts.
"We see it," Bryan concedes. "Every other entertainer out there is getting stuff — you get stuff thrown at you."
Luke Bryan Resumes His Country Song Came On Tour After Illness
Bryan unfortunately had to take a few weeks away from his Country Song Came On Tour while he was battling an illness. He later revealed he had COVID. Eric Church filled in for Bryan for three festival dates, while Bryan was recovering.
"I wanted to thank everybody for all the well wishes, for the last few shows that I had to postpone and obviously cancel," Bryan says when announcing his return to touring. "I want to thank my buddy Eric Church for stepping in, and helping out with me. It really, really gets frustrating getting sick like that, and losing my voice, and having to take a couple of weekends off. But thank you guys for supporting me. I love y'all, and we'll see you all in the shows to come."
Bryan's Country Song Came On Tour concludes with two rescheduled shows from his illness, taking place on September 11 and 12.
