Luke Combs Reveals Whether or Not He Wants To Play the Super Bowl Someday

Luke Combs stopped by the 'Monday Night Football' Manningcast on ESPN and talked about performing at the big game.

It's been a few weeks now since Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and it seems like everyone has their own ideas on who would be a suitable replacement.

That petition for George Strait still keeps getting signatures. Brett Farve and Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, want Jason Aldean to perform. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson wants Lee Greenwood to take the stage in Santa Clara, California.

In the midst of this ongoing speculation, Peyton and Eli Manning stumbled upon another possible candidate during their Monday Night Football Manningcast on ESPN this week, though no one should expect this beloved singer to replace anyone at the Halftime Show this year. Rather, we might just see him take on the Halftime Show someday in the future.

Luke Combs Wants to Perform at the Super Bowl

Luke Combs didn't hesitate when the former quarterbacks asked him if he wanted to sing on the world's biggest stage.

But then Eli asked the diehard Carolina Panthers fan if he'd rather perform at the Halftime Show or see his favorite team at the big game.

Combs responded with his own question: "Why not both, Eli? Why not both?"

However, it should be clarified that Combs doesn't seem interested in replacing Bad Bunny on Feb. 8, 2026. Rather, he just wants to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show someday.

The Carolina Panthers Teamed up With Combs for a Line of Fan Gear

Last week, the former football player and best-selling country singer of all time launched his own line of Carolina Panthers fan gear.

"It's safe to say I bleed Carolina Panthers blue," Combs said in a press release. "They've been my team through thick and thin. I was born into this fandom ... Their merchandise has always been a constant for me, so when they asked me about having my own line, I couldn't say yes fast enough. I was able to hand-pick each and every item in the collection. Talk about a full-circle moment. This is it. Keep Pounding."
