As Christmas inches closer it is important to remember that not everyone gets to spend time with their loved ones this year. While it is incredible to celebrate those who are still here with us, and we absolutely should, it is important to also remember those who are no longer with us. One way that America likes to do that is by honoring all of our fallen soldiers. To thank the men and women who sacrificed their lives so we may live in a free country. This year, Luke Combs's family decided to join the celebration as they placed wreaths on the graves of military members.

Luke Combs's Family Places Wreaths On Graves Of Military Members
Every year, around the holidays, there is a nationwide celebration. Wreaths Across America remembers the fallen soldiers and honors them by laying wreaths upon their graves. This year, the celebration was held this past Saturday, December 14th.
While thousands of people often come and volunteer for this incredible celebration, there were some well-known faces there this year. Luke Combs's family decided they wanted to participate as well. His wife, Nicole, shared some adorable images to her Instagram story.
The image featured her and one of her younger sons as they laid wreaths on the graves of military members. However, laying wreaths was not enough. Her adorable son wanted all those military members to know that he appreciated them.
Overtop her story she shared what he was saying to each grave. He said, "Hi. I love you. Thank you for your service. Merry Christmas." Luke Combs and Nicole's son did not say that to one or two graves. No, he said those words to every single grave that they laid wreaths on.
If that doesn't make you tear up and smile then I don't know what will.

According to her Instagram post, the Wreaths Across America is an annual tradition for her and her sister. They are honoring their "Papo and our veterans around Christmas today."
Additionally she shared that this year it was extra exciting because she got to experience the tradition with her nephews, Luke Combs's children. While photos of Nicole and her sister were shared, no photos of Luke were present. It is uncertain of whether the star attended the event with his wife and sister-in-law. Regardless, what a wonderful moment shared by family, honoring those who gave their lives for us.
