Man Eats Chick-Fil-A Everyday For A Year

Yes, I promise you read that correctly. This man ate Chick-fil-A every single day for a year. Well, almost every single day, and lost weight. Not a little bit of weight either. He lost 132 pounds in a year.

Does Chick-Fil-A have millions of multivitamins stored in their food? Is it a super food now? Do I know what constitutes a super food? All very valid questions, most of which the answer is no to. What actually happened will shock you.

Turns out, the man, named Tom Carroll, stuck to salad. And not just any salad. He stuck to the Spicy Southwest Salad. Now he admits in his blog post that he didn't technically eat it every day. But he tried his absolute best to. He would even go the extra mile and buy two on Saturdays to store one in the fridge for Sunday.

The Method

Tom Carroll was inspired to start a diet when he clocked in at 360 pounds before a wedding in July of 2023.

He had been experiencing chest pains for a while, and knew his diet was terrible. He even admitted that his weight had probably been higher at some points. He stated, "That was the first time I had stepped on a scale since the fall of 2019."

After seeing that 360 on the scale, he was spurred into action. But the action was half-hearted at best. He still drank consistently, and with the drinking came lapses in the diet. Because, well, welcome to the human experience. We've absolutely all been there.

But then, he found his cheat code. The perfect food that allowed him to eat something fun, while also being healthy. Once he found that meal out, it was game over. He dropped all the way down to 228 pounds by December 12th, 2024.

Now, as he puts it, he can "be the life of the party for a very long time." He urges others to follow in his footsteps and choose their health. And hey, I for one, do not need any more prompting to get some Chick-fil-A. Who's hungry?
