Word on the street is that Megan Moroney is releasing a third studio album. Following Am I Okay?, which is currently up for six CMA nominations, is certainly going to be a task. Fans have to be wondering how she's going to follow this success, and what kind of music Moroney has planned. Luckily, at a pop-up event in Nashville this week, she gave them a peek into what exactly they can expect.

On Tuesday, the "No Caller ID" singer surprised fans at the La La Land Kind Cafe on 12th South. Sporting a yellow dress to match her chosen venue for the day, Moroney sang songs from the Am I Okay? era, but also teased some music for her next project. The event took place at 2 p.m. that afternoon.
She told those at the event, "I really loved this album so much and it will always be so special to me, but I'm so excited for you to hear my next album once it comes out, and "Beautiful Things" is one of my special songs to me in this next era."
In addition to the free show, Moroney had fans write positive messages on their coffee cup sleeves. The plan was for these to spread kindness to other customers in the future.
What We Know About the New Album So Far
While speaking with People at the AMAs, Moroney revealed that fans can expect a "light and carefree and happy" tone to her new music. On Jake Shane's podcast, she also shared that, she's "more willing to take risks now" since she's established herself.
She shared, "I think the biggest difference with this album is that just, like, my feet are so planted and I know exactly who I am. I feel like I've always known who I am, but like, I know who I am and I'm willing to take risks now, you know?"
She also expressed that this album is her "best work" so far, which is why she's been a little secretive. "Usually I'm one to, like, tease the crap out of [new songs]... but I can't give away too much yet because I'm, like, the most proud of this next album, of all my stuff."
All that to say, we're definitely on high alert after Moroney's pop up. Even though she doesn't want to reveal too much just yet, she's got the attention of fans, who eagerly await details.
