Mom Goes Viral For Revealing How She Celebrates Christmas With 8 Kids

For some people, having kids is an obsession. Unbothered by rising costs of living, overpopulation, and lack of space, they fire them out like rabbits. One woman has given us a sneak peek at how she copes with 8 kids while they attempt to celebrate Christmas.

Of course, the mother of 8, soon to be 9, is a homeschooling, homesteading, Jesus fanatic. A high-rolling, successful businesswoman would never let herself have that many kids. Mercedes Lynn lives for her kids, and her TikTok is all about how she copes with the self-inflicted hellscape.

As the Christmas season approaches, a few users have asked how she copes with 8 kids. How are meals prepared for the equivalent of a soccer team, how does she manage presents, and when will she stop producing children?

She breaks down the military precision needed to make it all work. The first thing she states is that there is no Santa. That wouldn't be Christian, and she's a self-proclaimed follower of Jesus. Next, she gets into how they manage presents for the 8 kids on Christmas.

The Tactics for Christmas Presents For 8 Kids

She starts giving the gifts on Christmas Eve. "On Christmas Eve, each of our kids gets to open four presents. They get one new book, one new outfit, and two presents that are just fun things — either a toy, a game, or something fun that they wanted."

Next, come the presents on the big day itself. "Christmas Day they get to open what's in their stockings and at the bottom of their stocking there will be a small little piece of wrapping paper," she reveals. "And then they take that piece of wrapping paper and match it to a present under the tree because they each get one present on Christmas morning." It's a novel way to provide Christmas presents for 8 kids but keeps the chaos to a minimum.

I think it's impressive that the parents are able to provide for eight kids at Christmas. That's no small bill they will be running up for 8 birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the rest. Many people out there struggle to give even a few small gifts to much smaller families.
