His son is now 4 years old, and Wallen has shared with us that he's been trying to get a song right for him for some time.
The country singer shared a clip of the song to his Instagram, and said that it's called "Superman."
"Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son. None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it," he wrote.
The song is an emotional message directly to his son. He speaks of his shortcomings, his regrets, and his darker moments. It's a raw song that has Morgan Wallen putting his heart on his sleeve.
He has had a notoriously rocky relation with the public eye. While going through legal trouble and using a racial slur, he was breaking country records and selling out stadiums like no one's business.
With "Superman," however, we're seeing a more sensitive side of Wallen. No release date has yet been announced, but now that it's been teased, we can expect it soon.
