Morgan Wallen is definitely a fan of Thomas Rhett.

As we reported yesterday, new police footage released from Wallen's April 2024 arrest documents the moments leading up to and following the incident when Wallen was accused of throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church's Chief's Bar..
While there were certainly some cringy moments in that footage, one of the highlights was the "I'm the Problem" singer's ride in a police cruiser to the station.
What Did Morgan Wallen Do Before the Ride to Jail?
Earlier in the video, after the chair landed just a few feet from them, officers confronted Wallen, who insisted he didn't know what had happened.
"We've not tried to cause no problems, man," he tells another officer. "I don't know what they are — I don't know why."
When the cop explains they were trying to determine what happened to the chair, Wallen replies, "As you should."
"Eric Church Is on the Phone."
Later on in the video, Wallen is speaking with Eric Church on the phone, telling him the police are "trying to take me to jail outside of your (expletive) bar."
Church reportedly told police Wallen should wait privately, not on the sidewalk.
"It's not really something we can do," the officer says. "Law enforcement have to enforce the laws. Figure out what happened. We've got a supervisor coming to the scene. Gotta treat it like we would with anybody else."
Getting Down to Thomas Rhett
Considering he's being carted off to jail, Wallen was having a pretty good time in the back of the police cruiser. Lucky for him, one of the officers is a big fan.
Wallen discovers this when he asks the officer for his favorite country musicians.
"I can tell you my top three right now," the officer says. "You're honestly one of them."
During the cruiser ride, the officer pulls up a streaming app and plays what sounds like "Mamaw's House," Wallen's 2023 hit with Thomas Rhett.
"This is me and Thomas Rhett," Wallen shouts. "Turn it up. That's me and TR! That's me right there."
Wallen begins singing a few lines himself. He then adds, "TR is one of the best dudes in the world. He would definitely not be getting arrested."
Best ride to jail. Ever.
