Rascal Flatts Wows Crowd At Commander-in-Chief Ball During Inauguration Festivities

It was quite a historic day in Washington, D.C. First came the swearing-in of President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. Then came all the elegant and memorable festivities in the evening. Among the day's and evening's performers, who included powerhouse celebrities like Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean, was Rascal Flatts. It was the trio's first outing together since they reunited, per People. The band went their separate ways in 2021. The threesome, comprised of frontman Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney, sang their hearts out with style at the packed Commander-in-Chief Ball at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The event was especially for military personnel.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump stopped by the event to greet well-wishers and take a quick twirl on the dance floor. So did Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha.

Per the outlet, "While Rascal Flatts disbanded in October 2021, they announced they had reunited last fall and are set to kick-off their 25th anniversary tour in February." Their Life Is A Highway tour kicks off on February 13 in Evansville, Indiana, per the group's web site.

Gary LeVox, the band's frontman, seemed jubilant about their performance last night. They really entertained the throng. He posted on Instagram, "What an absolute honor gettin to sing for America & the next POTUS last night with my @rascalflatts brothas. Definitely one for the books. May God bless President Trump & America in every aspect for the next 4 years."

Flatts Frontman Gary LeVox Expressed Enthusiasm About The Inaugural Ball Performance A Few Days Ago On Social Media

He Posted His Thoughts On Instagram, Reflecting Excitement And Gratitude

LeVox wrote on Instagram, "I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States. I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at the commanders ball and I am so looking forward to it!...It will be a night to remember!"

Many commenters noted their joy at having their favorite band appear at the high-profile event. Others were a bit more negative, voicing some disappointment, perhaps due to their own particular political leanings. Whatever blowback the popular group may have received, they did not let it hinder their night at all.
