PEOPLE have claimed to have obtained the documents that detail the deaths of Robin Haye and her husband, Thomas DeLuca. Their deaths have been plastered on headlines since their corpses were found in their California home on July 14. Four days after their murder.

On July 10, the 70-year-old couple were fatally shot by a home invader. We now finally have confirmation of the nature of their deaths.

Using surveillance footage, police pegged one 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian as the murderer.

He invaded their home on July 10th, only 30 minutes before the couple returned home from a grocery run. He shot at them numerous times in the head.

Tragically, according to the documents, Thomas DeLuca died within seconds of receiving his wounds. Haye, however, managed to remain alive for a few minutes before flatlining.

The murder weapon was found in their home, in a drawer. It is believed that Boodarian used a weapon belonging to the couple against them.

In the obtained documents, it was confirmed that autopsies were carried out to confirm their cause of death.

The couple were then cremated on July 23.

Suspect Currently Undergoing Psychiatric Evaluation

With two counts of first-degree murder and a count of first-degree residential burglary, Raymond Boodarian was set to attend court on August 20. However, he attended wearing a suicide gown. His public defender, Nancy Kolocotronis, confirmed that Boodarian was feeling suicidal. The suspect also failed to respond to the judge in any capacity.

Judge Martin L. Herscovitz suspended the hearing. The suspect has since been referred to a mental health court for evaluation, where he is to appear on September 3.

The result of the evaluation will influence the outcome of the trial.

Now that we know the cause of death, I think we can finally leave the late couple in peace. Boodarian will go through the due process, where he'll hopefully receive an appropriate consequence for his actions. Until then, I hope the friends and family of the departed will find the strength and comfort they need to get through this trying time.
