It's Been an Interesting Start to the Season So Far
The SEC football conference kicked off its season in late August, and it's been an interesting start. This is Texas and Oklahoma's second season being in the conference, and both teams have managed to make an impression. Oklahoma currently sits at No. 13 and has a 2-0 record, while Texas has a record of 1-1. However, while many teams are doing well, others, like Alabama and Tennessee, are struggling to get the ball rolling, literally.
Addressing the "noise" surrounding how Alabama's been doing this season so far, new head coach Kalen DeBoer said that he actually "wants the passion" in a recent interview. The coach has been facing backlash after what many fans considered to be an "embarrassing" loss against Florida State earlier this season. Alabama lost to Florida 31-17, and many fans blamed the new coach for the upsetting loss.
"We understand, and we want passionate people around this program," the coach shared. "We want that, I promise you we want that. And for us, we just gotta hone in on what we can control."
The SEC Conference office issues weekly updates for start times and TV networks for football games, and never provides information more than 6 days before any game. To stay updated, football fans can go to www.SECsports.com/fbtv.
