Maddie Brush shared the news of her new daughter to her Instagram a couple of days ago. She had given birth on March 14 to a healthy baby.
"Absolutely worth the wait, Miss Emilia Estelle Brush has finally made her grand entrance!" Brush exclaimed, introducing her new daughter. Emilia Estelle Brush is a beautiful name. And one with a lot more meaning than meets the eye.
"Our sweet girl took her time, keeping us all in suspense, but when she decided it was time—she didn't waste a second. Born on 3/14, she arrived absolutely perfect," she gratefully continued.
"We are completely smitten with our newest little love."
The daughter's middle name is Estelle, and for a heart-wrenching reason. A user made the connection and commented under the post to share it.
"She's adorable, I love her name especially Estelle. Is it like a tribute to Garrison since Estelle means Star in Latin. Either way her and her name are adorable," the user wrote.
In confirmation, Maddie Brush replied, writing, "that is exactly what it is."
Maddie Brush's younger brother, Garrison Brown, died by suicide around this time last year. Emilia was born only 9 days after the anniversary of his death. The tribute to her late brother must mean the world to her and her family.
