Actor Casey Deidrick, known for playing Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives from 2009 to 2013, has been arrested and charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call. Allegedly, Deidrick got into a heated argument with his girlfriend after he believed she was recording him without his consent.

A Davidson County Sheriff's Office representative confirmed to the New York Post that Daidrick was charged. He was taken into custody in Nashville, Tennesse, at 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, according to online records. He was released the following day after posting his $2,500 bond.
According to TMZ, Casey Deidrick was at his Nashville home with his girlfriend. He then noticed that his girlfriend was recording him without his consent. This reportedly enraged the actor, so he allegedly cornered her into the kitchen after a squabble and placed her in a bear hug. He would then snatch her phone from her hands. Deidrick also alleges that his girlfriend wrapped her hands around his neck.
Girlfriend's Side Of The Story
The girlfriend, however, tells a different story. She completely denies ever recording him at all. Once Deidrick took her phone away, she demanded it back and told him she would call 911 as she feared for her safety. She got her phone back after promising to move out of Deidrick's house that day. Moreover, Deidrick's claim of her wrapping her hands around his neck was debunked by police officers who found no evidence of such a claim.
Casey Deidrick appeared in 362 episodes of Days of Our Lives, playing the character of Chad DiMera for five years. Following his role in DOOR, he would play the role of detective Tommy in MTV's Eye Candy, only to be canceled after a single season. Also, for MTV, he would play Halwyn in the teen drama series Teen Wolf in 2017.
His most prominent role following Days of Our Lives would come in 2019. He was cast as Max Parish in The CW's crime drama TV series In The Dark. He would star in 48 episodes before the show came to an end in 2022.
