Travis Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, and her fans have been all over their relationship. He's always been praised as a good boyfriend, and recently even marriage material after fans have been gearing up for a potential proposal at the Super Bowl.
However, Kelce may have stepped his foot in it after a statement he made about Donald Trump. Bear in mind, Donald Trump and Taylor Swift don't exactly have a friendly history. So the Swifties don't regard the president in a good light no matter their own political views.
It was announced earlier this week that Donald Trump would be attending a Super Bowl game that Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are playing in. Considering both Trump and Swift will be watching his game, Kelce was asked about his thoughts.
He said, "That's awesome. It's a great honor, I think, no matter who the president is. I know I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there, you know, it's the best country in the world."
A pretty standard and politically neutral answer. However, the many millions of his girlfriend's fans are not having it.
