The Tennessee Titans lost on the road to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. But that disappointing outcome was probably not in the forefront of the Titans' defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons' mind. His home was broken into while he and his family were away, per ClutchPoints via NFL reporter Easton Freeze on X. Simmons is understandably very angry about the distressing incident.

Simmons Posted Two Infuriated Messages
The gridiron star wrote a post describing exactly how he feels. It reads, "God is the Greatest and I'm his son!! Whoever you are, just know he sit high and look Low. You'll get what you deserve f*****g cowards."
A second post said, "Lol bro this s**t was planned out... big a** house and yall hit one room? You knew exactly where my master room was?? Yea okayyyyy smh."
Photos depict a hammer and broken glass littering the floor in the wake of the break-in.
Freeze added, "Titans statement: Team security is actively working with Metro Nashville Police Department to recover items stolen from Jeff Simmons' house. No residents were home during the burglary."
The Burglary at Simmons' Home Is Being Investigated
Per a press release from the Metro Nashville Police Department, several individuals allegedly entered Simmons' home in his and his family's absence. "Video surveillance shows the burglary occurred shortly after 7 p.m. when at least six suspects entered after smashing out window glass. Multiple items were taken...Several components of the MNPD's Investigative Services Bureau are actively working this case."
Other Pro Athletes Have Had Their Homes Broken Into
Regrettably, there seems to be a trend of breaking into pro athletes' homes when they are away. According to a USA Today story published last month, high-profile professional players including Clevelnd Browns QB Shedeur Sanders, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow all had intruders break in.
Some of these players suffered hefty losses. For example, Sanders had "an estimated $200,000 in property" taken. Burrow's home was reportedly entered by burglars a year ago. Thieves allegedly swiped "$300,000 worth of luggage and accessories."
