The Country Gift That Reba McEntire Sent One Of Her Fellow 'The Voice' Coaches

Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé became fast friends while coaching Season 26 of The Voice together last year. Bublé is continuing this season, although not with McEntire, who left after last season. Instead, Bublé is joined by Kelsea Ballerini, Snoop Dogg and John Legend. Fortunately, McEntire gifted Bublé something that he can wear, to remind him of her even while she isn't on the show.

"When [Reba] sent me a pair of custom boots I knew I had to up my game," Bublé reveals on social media, showing off his new footwear.

Bublé isn't the only one who got a gift from McEntire. Ballerinia also received something from the Country Music Hall of Fame member: a sweet, personal note.

"Dear Kelsea, I heard you would be the new coach this season and I'm just so excited for you," Ballerini recalls (via People). "It's up to you to keep country alive on the show and I know you'll do a terrific job. Now go out there and show those boys who's the boss."

Why Reba McEntire Left The Voice

McEntire coached for three seasons on The Voice, before announcing her departure. Although she did not explicitly give a reason for leaving the popular show, it's likely at least in part to her other TV show, Happy's Place.

"I love the script, Happy's Place, because it is something that actually really could happen," McEntire says. "It's a lot of fun. It's got a lot of heart to it. It's about me. I play Bobbie Jo, and my dad is Happy, and he has owned this tavern for many, many years. He's kind of retired, so I've been kind of handling it.

"Well, my daddy dies, and I go to the lawyer's office to make sure all the will is just right and sign the papers, and I have quite a surprise," she adds. "I find out that my daddy did have two families. There you go."

Happy's Place also stars her longtime boyfriend, Rex Linn, as well as her former Reba co-star, Melissa Peterman. The show airs on Friday nights at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
