Kelsea Ballerini shared a powerful statement with a young fan of hers who is battling cancer, and has invited her to a concert as a special guest.

Avery has been fighting cancer since November, and her mother, Megan, has been sharing their tumultuous journey to TikTok. She shared that Ballerini's song "This Time Last Year" has been their personal anthem during this difficult time.
Megan shared a long video to TikTok that shed light on Avery's journey. She said how "positive" Avery has been during her battle, and that they were hoping to attend Ballerini's Kansas City show in April if Avery is well enough to attend.
All Megan asked for was a personal message from Kelsea Ballerini to lift her daughter's spirits. Not only did Ballerini respond, but she did them one better.
Ballerini commented on the TikTok, and wrote, "Hi beautiful friend. sending you and your girls so much light and love and strength, and having the team reach out to set you up for kansas city, if our girl is feeling good enough."

Naturally, Megan posted a follow-up video of her, Avery, and her other daughter celebrating the news. They embraced and cried, overwhelmed by the generosity of the singer. It's a beautiful video.
