Riding a horse is already pretty cool, but shooting a gun with accuracy while doing it is ice-cold. Miranda Lambert has added this skill to her list of hobbies, and it's bad ass.

The sport is called mounted shooting. It involved riding a horse around a track and shooting at balloons with a pistol. Not only does the rider need to be able to pick out a target, they also needs to control the horse and maintain a good pace. It's something pulled right from the Wild West.
For a country singer like Miranda Lambert, mounted shooting couldn't be more on brand. She has taken the new hobby seriously too and has recently shared a recent competition she took part in. "Thanks to @kenda_lenseigne for putting on the first Flying Pistols jackpot shoot so I could get my first one under my belt. Cool took great care of me," she shared.

And for all the animal welfare folks out there, don't worry, her horse wears earplugs. A lot of care is taken to make sure that, although the sport looks dangerous, Miranda Lambers is not in any danger of hurting the crowd or the horse.
Miranda Lambert Becomes A Cowgirl
After watching Miranda Lambert effortlessly blast balloons from horseback, I have instantly added another thing to my bucket list. Her whole get-up is awesome, too. Bright baby-blue tasseled chaps can be seen flapping in the wind as she cocks and unloads a pistol with deadly precision. The horse is flying, and so is her hair. I can only imagine how good it feels.
Riding horseback has always been a big theme in country music, and it's cool to see a singer like Miranda Lambert living the life. It certainly adds a bit more credibility to her music. Sure, country artists talk the talk of guns and ranches, but it takes a woman like this to also walk the walk.
I certainly wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her anymore. How are you supposed to mess with someone who can shoot while tearing up the track on a horse?
