Lauren Alaina and Sara Evans have cleared the air between them. For years, Evans incorrectly assumed Alaina was mad at her, because of something Evans said to her in jest. But when Evans invited Alaina to be a guest on Evans' Diving In Deep With Sara Evans podcast, Alaina reveals that not only was she not mad at Evans - ever - but she has zero recollection of the conversation the two had in the first place.

It all began when both Evans and Alaina were filming a pilot for a TV show, one neither of them discloses, and had been on set all day long.
"And we were loopy," Evans recounts. "It was the end of the day ... And I said something to you and one of the other girls. We were talking about clothing or what were we going to wear tomorrow."
"I don't remember this at all," Alaina interjects. The two go back and forth, trying to recall who else was there that day, before Evans continues with the conversation that unnecesarily haunted her for years.
"I was like, 'Yeah, Lauren, you slut,'" Evans recalls. "Because, you said you were going to wear something very conservative. Like, it wasn't going to be slutty, so the joke was, 'Yeah, you slut.'"
Alaina didn't say anything, which is why Evans made the assumption that Alaina was mad at her.
"You didn't say anything," Evans says. "You didn't do anything. I just thought you were mad. You laughed; we were all leaving."
"It tortured you," Alaina says. "Multiple people have talked to me about this ... that you were so worried that I didn't like you. And they came to me, and I literally do not remember it at all. So even if it did make me mad at the time ... I'm not the kind of person that would make mad."
You can watch them clear the air in the video below, beginning at about the 44-minute mark.
Lauren Alaina's Pregnancy
Alaina has much more to celebrate than her renewed friendship with Evans. In January, Alaina revealed hse is pregnant. The news came one year after marrying Cam Arnold. Alaina announced the news in the video for her current single, "Those Kind Of Women."
Alaina says it's her late father, J.J. Suddeth, who unexpectedly passed away last July, who she believes sent the couple their first child together, sooner than they planned.
"I do think that my dad passed away and got a stair up in heaven, and was like, 'Hey, we got to work something out down there to send the family something good,'" Alaina tells People. "And it has been such an unexpected blessing. We obviously still talk about and are dealing with the grief of my dad, but this baby has healed a lot of that for us ... like it's a little piece of my dad that will live on."
