According to a US Sun report, Gwen Stefani allegedly plans to quit the show. The series mainstay wants to spend more time with her children and husband, Blake Shelton.

Longtime viewers of The Voice will know that Gwen Stefani has become a staple of the show for a decade. She joined the cast in Season 7, which was back in 2014.

Sources report that the singer has "cried a lot this season." Stefani has allegedly said that "she's even more of an emotional wreck this season than she ever has been." The source clarifies, "It was nonstop emotions, crying throughout this entire journey. You can tell it's mostly rooted in joy and deep pride for the work she's done."

The US Sun also reports that an insider suggests the departure isn't as sudden as it may appear. "She never outright said she was done with the show, but it seems like she's quitting, yeah. She's done, I think."

It's important to note that while there is speculation about Gwen Stefani quitting the show, nothing is confirmed by the Hollaback Girl singer or her team.

Coaches Leave Big Shoes To Fill On The Voice

If the reports are accurate, the conclusion to Season 26 will feel bittersweet to many fans. Gwen Stefani will leave big shoes to fill, and while Snoop Dogg was only meant to coach for one season, he was one of the show's highlights.

Fortunately, if you're a fan of the latter, it appears that "Uncle Snoop" is keen to return to The Voice in the future. He likely won't appear in Season 27 in February, but he enjoyed his time on the show more than he thought he would:

"I had a great time on The Voice. I ain't gonna front, but when I did the contract, I thought, 'I'm gonna do this for one year and get up outta here.' Once I got to the set, I fell in love with Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and, unbelievably, Michael Bublé are like lost brothers."
