Trump Makes Waves Online With Sideline Super Bowl Entrance

President Donald Trump arrived at the Caesars Superdome and made it all the way into the New Orleans field. Minutes before the Super Bowl LIX game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles started, Trump became the very first sitting United States president to attend the game in history.

Alongside his children, Eric and Ivanka, President Trump arrived at the Superdome and took pictures with family members of the victims of the January 1 Bourbon Street terrorist attack. Trump was also seen shaking hands with the Chief's Chris Jones. According to ABC News, while there were some boos at the Superdome, Trump was mostly cheered by fans.

And as everything Trump-related, many users online were quick to react to his appearance on the Superdome's field

"Sports bring people together.....this is a time for family, friends, fun, and peace. I'm glad he took the time to support the players," one user wrote. "The Super Bowl in New Orleans this year with President Trump in attendance is about more than football. It's about a country coming back together and getting back on track," another user wrote. A third one said: "Of course he's breaking records and stealing the show! The crowd can't get enough of him."

Many others, however, were not too thrilled to see President Trump in New Orleans.

"Can we get a break just for tonight from this man it's Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar is performing, the Eagles might win - just for today, can we get break!!?" one user wrote. "He is costing us a ton of money to be there. But yeah go on about how much waste in all of the agencies he is cutting." a second user wrote. A third one said: "This seems like irresponsible spending of taxpayer money."

Trump All In For Chiefs Victory

During an interview with Bret Baier for Fox News, Donald Trump predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs would go on to win their third consecutive Super Bowl in a row. While he "hated" to give out his prediction, Trump's praise for Patrick and Brittany Mahomes ended up with him picking the Chiefs.

"I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he's won - I have to go with Kansas City," Trump told Baier. "At the same time, Philadelphia is fantastic, it's going to be just a great game."

President Trump would then call Patrick Mahomes a "great quarterback." At the same time, she referred to Brittany Mahomes as a "phenomenal wife" and a "Trump fan."
