Watch a Shirtless Gavin Adcock Take a Tumble off the Stage

It's been a few weeks since we've heard from Gavin Adcock, but we knew he wouldn't stay quiet for long.

After making headlines this summer, the "Own Worst Enemy" singer is greeting autumn with a whiskey bottle in one hand, a mic in the other, shirtless and not watching his step.

Gavin Adcock Isn't the First to Fall

Of course, stage mishaps aren't new, and falling off the stage seems to be an occupational hazard for many performers.

For example, Luke Bryan took a tumble last year when he tripped over a cell phone someone threw on stage. It didn't stop him from putting on a dance party in August when he glided across a slick stage in Cincinnati.

Similarly, Darius Rucker suffered a similar fate in Charleston last year after tripping over a monitor. He lightened the mood by telling the audience, "We've been doing this all summer. I hadn't fell once. But I busted my a** in my hometown."

Even the genre's top artists aren't immune. Morgan Wallen's knees hit the ground in front of a sold-out crowd last July 4, though he recovered quickly and didn't miss a note.

Adcock Dove off the "Deep End"

In a clip filmed during his show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, at the Burton Cummings Theatre, a shirtless Adcock began performing "Deep End." As he sauntered to the side of the stage, it looked like he was trying to grab a beer from a fan.

Then gravity did its thing. Adcock fell into the crowd, but went on with the song without missing a beat. While he may have lost his cowboy hat, Adcock didn't lose his dignity (or his bottle of whiskey).

And yes, the irony of him slipping off the edge of the stage while performing "Deep End" isn't lost on us. We're just not one for obvious jokes.

In fact, Adcock seems to be taking the fall in stride. He replied to the post with the following:

"It happens."

Maybe this will serve as a warning to Zach Bryan. If the "Something in the Orange" singer was somehow able to get a punch in during their spat at the Born & Raised Festival last month, chances are Adcock wouldn't go down easy.
