The Dolly Parton auditions are still coming in thick and fast, and I think we've found her vocal doppelganger.

In early December, Dolly Parton took to TikTok to announce that she's looking for someone to play the part of herself in her upcoming musical, Dolly: An Original Musical. Auditions have come in thick and fast, but we may have come across the best one yet.
Aspiring Dolly, Haley Spence Brown, posted to TikTok an audition, as is the due process. "Dolly's gotten me through some real tough times," she began the audition with, "some really, really hard times, and... she's doing it again today."
After that intro, she pulled out an incredible Dolly impression to say her next words. It's genuinely uncanny. While sounding like Dolly, she mentioned that she's recording from a hotel room as she had to evacuate her home due to the LA wildfires.
She didn't have a microphone, which she believed made her sound more "rag-tag" and authentic to "Dolly's start."
Then, she finally began to sing. And, my word, dear reader, she really sounds like Dolly.
Internet Reacts To Best Dolly Parton Audition Yet
I feel really harsh calling this the definitive Dolly Parton audition considering all the other talented auditioners, but I mean, come on. Listen to it, it's insane.
The comments are full of incredible praise.
"This is the most authentic and least cartoonish one I've seen," one writes. Although I don't know about calling others cartoonish, this certainly is very authentic.
"Soul. The others were missing this soul," another highlights.
"Chills. Tears. Everything," another aptly writes. I also couldn't believe it when I heard it.
"THIS IS IT!!! not overly gimmicky and raw talent. plus you do look like young dolly," another compliments.
To sweeten the deal, Brown reveals some other talents at the end of the audition. She yodels, plays the fiddle and the banjo. Although she shows off her yodelling, she jokes that they'll have to call her back to hear her fiddle and banjo skills.
She has a genuine shot of being cast, or at least considered, which is really exciting. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens!
