Megan Moroney got a huge surprise from her friend Kenny Chesney over the weekend.

Just before the "Am I Okay?" singer took the stage at the Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina, on Sep. 12, she appeared to be taking selfies in front of a bright light. Dressed in her royal blue dress and white cowboy boots, Moroney drops her jaw when Chesney pops in to say hello.
The text on the video reads, "pov: when Kenny Chesney surprises you at the am I okay? tour 5 minutes before you go on stage :,)"
"Kennnnny," Moroney screams and laughs. "What are you doing here? What are you dooooinnnnng here?"
Megan Moroney and Kenny Chesney Are Good Friends
The friendship between Moroney and Chesney has grown since they toured together last year. Since then, the two have had each other's backs.
As we reported back in April, Chesney has been Moroney's biggest fan.
"She's really good," he said. "What's crazy is that Megan and I didn't know each other this time last year. We've both had conversations after touring with each other this summer, and I can't imagine us not knowing each other now. That's how crazy that is."
He's also been a mentor of sorts to Moroney, and she learned all that she could during their time together.
"I literally watch his whole show every night— side stage — trying to learn from him,' Moroney said. "From everything he does on the stage to interacting with his fans, I'm trying to take note of every move he makes."
Then, in May, the two released the duet "You Had To Be There."
"As far as I know, this is the first song anyone has written for me," he wrote. "Thank you, Megan. I love ya."
Chesney Went on Stage, Too
When Moroney went out to perform her show, Chesney didn't stay backstage. He surprised the audience by joining his friend for a performance of "You Had To Be There."
Reflecting on the surprise-filled weekend, Moroney posted a picture of a heartfelt note from Chesney congratulating her on an amazing show.
He wrote, "Megan, you were amazing up there. You outshine everyone by just being yourself!! I love you, Kenny."
