How the Ill Will Between the Two Singers Began

Two months ago, Adcock got pretty publicly miffed with Bryan. That was because Bryan seemed to respond nastily on social media to a teenager who was disappointed that he did not hobnob with fans when he was in the Big Apple. Actually, Bryan did spend time with his loyal devotees. He also probably did not know that the fan in question was a very young person.

But Adcock got some jabs in anyway, per Wide Open Country via X. "If you can't handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?" Adcock writes. "That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He's got feeling too and a you're a 'grown man' nearly 30. "They're the only reason you are around."

Their Argument Intruded in a Performance by Another Artist

Then at the Born & Raised Festival, Bryan, who was singing with Gabriela Rose on stage, interrupted the performance to shout at Adcock. Bryan even scaled a fence to go face to face with Adcock but security personnel intervened.

There Was More on Social Media

Bryan posted this on Instagram.

"last show of the year at Michigan stadium this week
been the worst and best few years of my life.
so ready for the chapter to end
gotta go make music fun to myself again
so excited to see everyone there, I love everyone that's been here this whole time so much and im gonna try to give it my all justa' one more time

each day I pray people understand I will never regret a thing and I am proud of myself, my family and my friends. there could be a million [expletive] who have never had a unique thought in their life preaching a million pounds of negativity and [expletive] and it wouldn't be worth a single soul who's found strength n shelter in true song writing and good live performances

Have a good day guys, god speed"

The Subject Came up Again on Actor Matthew McConaughey's Book Tour

Bryan teamed up with Matthew McConaughey when the actor's Poems & Prayers book tour landed in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As recorded on a TikTok video, their banter is kind of hard to decipher. But you can hear McConaghey asking the singer, "What's the worst that can happen? And Bryan quips. "I don't know, jump a fence."
