Zach Top Breaks Silence About Those Strange Fan Theories Alan Jackson Is His Father

Country fans swear that Zach Top is related to Alan Jackson. A conspiracy theory started floating around after a Canadian radio show put their tinfoil hat on and connected the dots. They place a tour date in connection to his birthday, it's a whole thing. A mustache and a cowboy hat and you might be related too. Zach is not even remotely obligated to respond to such absurdity but he's entertaining it regardless. Moreover, he's got the perfect solution. What better way to see if Alan Jackson is your dad than to see him on tour?

Recently, Top had an interview on the Rob and Holly Show where he addressed the fan theories about himself and Alan Jackson. There, he has a bit of fun with the idea by putting on a tinfoil hat of his own and joking that his parents refuse to talk about it. "Hell, it's more than a rumor. I've been trying to figure out what the answer is. My parents won't answer me straight, and nobody will," Zach jests.

Zach Top Plans to Address Fan Theories With Alan Jackson Directly

Then, Top takes the opportunity to self plug a little bit amidst his master plan. He'll just ask Alan Jackson directly and see how he responds to the internet theories. "I think the only way I'm going to get a straight answer is in Fort Worth when I finally meet him when we do that first show here in a few weeks. Just gonna go up and say, 'Hi Daddy, I missed you.' And we'll see how he reacts, and I'll know whether it's true or not," Zach says.

Top doubles down that this is all in good fun and that he doesn't mean any disrespect calling Jackson daddy or anything. But ultimately, Zach feels comfortable joking about it because he's sure Alan already knows about the fan theory. "He surely has to be aware of it. I don't imagine he scrolls Instagram or TikTok very much, but surely somebody in his camp has like made him aware that this is a thing. So I hope, I hope we can do something funny, you know, on his tour where we kind of acknowledge it," Top says.
