Per the outlet, "2024 was the Washington native's breakout year, to say the least. He had a stellar year from the release of his debut record, supporting Lainey Wilson on her Country's Cool Again Tour, taking the stage at many festivals, and receiving his first CMA nomination." Now, 2025 is heading in a good direction for Top, 27, as well. On the initial concerts of his tour, Top, has been performing a song apparently called "I Don't Give A Flip." It has an interesting connection to Jimmy Buffett.

Zach Top's Song 'I Don't Give A Flip' Is Apparently A Jimmy Buffett-Inspired Beach Fantasy

Per the outlet, this song is about a lucky guy with a one-way ticket for a fantastic tropical getaway. There, he meets an alluring female. Unfortunately, she rips him off, swiping his possessions and "leaving him with a broken heart." That sounds sound as if it has a hint of Jimmy Buffett-style pathos in paradise!

Here are some of the lyrics.

"Now, I don't give a flip...flop
If I ever see that beach again
She tore me apart
Walked barefoot on my heart
Left me lying there in the sand
I'll find another place with waves and shade
And a girl who knows how to treat a man
So, I don't give a flip, flop
If I ever see that beach again..."

Top Seems To Like The Beach-y Life

Zach Top also has a second beach-y tune, "Busy Doin' Nothin." Seems like the Buffett influence has really struck a responsive chord in him. In fact, he has taken it to a new level. The outlet has a pic of Top sitting outside in the snow in a summery lounge chair. He is wearing shorts, no shoes or socks, and an open shirt. Lovin' country music sure does keep a guy warm in winter!
