The search for Dolly has finally concluded as Dolly Parton announces a casting call for the talented chosen.

In December last year, Dolly Parton announced that she was looking for someone to play the leading role in her musical, Dolly: An Original Musical. On Feb 13, however, she revealed that the search was over, as her team trifled through thousands of auditions and picked their favorites.
The audition process required people to share their auditions online, and thousands of videos of aspiring Dollys took to the internet to share their talents.
In the announcement that's been plastered to Dolly's socials, only 15 auditioners have been invited to formally audition in New York. One of those chosen 15 will play the leading role, Dolly Parton herself.
I noticed that Haley Spence Brown made the cut, who we praised for sounding exactly like Dolly in her audition. It's so exciting to see that she's been invited to audition.
The announcement shows clips from all 15 auditions, giving us a taste of the incredible talents vying for the role.

Now, every one of those auditions are brilliant. Each of them could play an amazing Dolly in their own right. However, the comment section is ablaze in a civil war between two specific candidates.
We appear to have team Elyse Bell and team Haley Brown.
Any comment that isn't directly rooting for Bell or Brown is a comment rooting for both of them, which says a lot about their talent.
Although there are fan favorites, we need to remember that their full range of skills and assets will be presented at the audition. So any one of these actresses may prove to be the one they've been searching for.
I'm sure it'll be a hard pick.

"Elyse just personifies Dolly!!" another exclaims.
"So we're all for Haley or Elyse right?" asks one more.
