Morgan Wallen has changed a lot in five years, at least according to his former fianceé, KT Smith. Smith, who shares 4-year-old son Indigo with Wallen, praises the "I'm The Problem" singer for how radically he has changed his life since 2020.

"2020 was a wild year for him. It is what it is," Smith says on Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast (via Taste of Country). "It took him a while to be where he is now, to be on a good path. But it happened, thankfully before Indigo was [old enough] to realize it."
Wallen and Smith were already broken up by the time Indigo arrived, although Wallen did appear at the hospital when he was born. But with Indigo turning five later this year, Smith says she now has a lot of respect for Wallen.
"His life is extremely private, but what people don't see is that he has grown tremendously ... He's a great dad," Smith boasts. "He has a great life that is private, and he can still do what he does while keeping it all private, and I think that's great. I love that he's had that radical change."
Morgan Wallen's Song For His Son
Wallen seems to have fully embraced being a father. He recently shared a clip of a new song, called "Superman."

"None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it."
The song begins with "One day you're gonna see my mugshot / From a night when I got a little too drunk / Hear a song about a girl that I lost / From the times when I just wouldn't grow up," referencing Morgan's racial slur after a days-long bender. It seemingly also refers to Smith, who recently split from her husband, Luke Scornavacco.
"I'm The Problem" is the title track of Wallen's next album. It's also the title of his upcoming tour, kicking off on June 20. He will be joined on the road by Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel, among others.
