Watch Alan Jackson Perform "Chattahoochee" For One Of The Last Times On Opry Stage During 'Opry 100'

The Grand Ole Opry celebrated its 100th anniversary last night. And in a night celebrating the past 100 years of country music, you'd best believe that Alan Jackson was there.

Last year, Alan Jackson revealed that he was going on a farewell tour to retire from touring. The country legend has graced the genre with his music for decades. His Last Call: One More For The Road tour only has a few more shows left, but he made sure to pay a visit to the Opry to celebrate country music as well.

I'm so glad that he managed to make it to the Opry's 100th birthday to celebrate. I think it's fitting that a country legend such as Alan Jackson would have his last Opry performance on its 100th anniversary (if indeed this is his last performance there. He's retiring from full-time touring but so did George Strait, and we see that didn't stick). It just makes sense.

Alan Jackson fans out there may be feeling bittersweet about his performance at the Grand Ole Opry, especially considering he performed "Chattahoochee," a staple classic. I don't think there could have been a better song to perform.

You can watch a fan video below that shows Alan Jackson performing his most iconic song. Just try not to cry.

He's still got it.

Those attending the Grand Ole Opry got the privilege to see not just Alan Jackson's Opry performance but a whole night of talent. In May, his tour will wrap up, and the singer will step out of the limelight to enjoy some well-deserved rest. Although he may or may not hang it up completely, Jackson is stepping away from regular performance.

According to a confused witness account, the singer had to hold someone's shoulder as he walked off the stage. Despite his stellar performance, he is still suffering from a neurological ailment. He was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.

Other fans took to social media to share their thoughts over his performance.

"Alan Jackson on the Opry 100.. let's just say I was not ready," admitted one sad fan.

"It was Great to see Alan Jackson on the Opry one last time. Very brave of him. He looked and sounded great!!" exclaimed another fan.

It's sad to know that this may be one of his final Opry performances. But, at least we still have his spiritual son, Zach Top, to continue his legacy.
