Wardrobe malfunctions are one of many things you have to worry about on stage, but sometimes they are unavoidable. In those situations, all that matters is how you handle them, and Carrie Underwood just put on a masterclass.

Underwood was performing the penultimate performance of her Las Vegas residency on April 11. However, during her banger 'Denim and Rhinestones,' it was obvious that her dance moves were more wooden than usual.
A viral video by ohheyimjk, which has been viewed over 2 million times, shows Underwood's dancing. She's still great, although she does look notably uncomfortable. The video has a caption that reads, "Carrie Underwood handles a wardrobe issue like a pro that you probably didn't notice." What is the wardrobe issue? Well, the singer-songwriter was trying to hide a hole in her shorts!
Underwood Explained What Happened After A Few Songs
Underwood addressed the malfunction moments later in another TikTok video by ohheyimjk.
After her song, Underwood asks the crowd, "Y'all wanna hear a funny story?"
"So this is kind of embarrassing, but I was laughing, and I want you guys to laugh, too, so I'm willing to embarrass myself," she said. "The last act, the zipper on the back of my little thing I was wearing. Whoop!"
"So, that's why I was laughing and running into people, and I could not turn around," she explained. "And I'm really sorry you guys had to stare at my booty for like two songs!" The stage crew turned the lights off, presumably for the start of the next song. Underwood joked, "Well, my booty is back in now; you can turn the lights on. No booty's here! We're good now." A few seconds later, the show continued like nothing ever happened.
Many of the comments on the video commend how she handled the situation. Abby Benjoya notes her timing, saying, 'It's her taking a story break two notes from the end of the song for me.' Another commenter, Gabbsarehere, joked, 'Is the wardrobe issue in the room with us?' One more TikTok user, Cindy Ann, said, 'She's amazing!!! She handled it like a pro. Love her and her songs."
