Michael J. Fox was recently in Nashville, for a very worthwhile cause. The actor, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, was part of the A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's fundraiser held in Music City.

The event included performances by Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton and comedian Dusty Slay. But plenty of other artists were on hand, including both Kelsea Ballerini and Sheryl Crow. The event was hosted by Today's own Willie Geist.
"One hell of a night in Nashville," Fox says on social media, sharing photos of himself with both stars. "Huge thanks to legends [Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town and Dusty Slay], and my man [Willie Geist] for making A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's one for the books. Every year, this night reminds me just how much heart this community has. Grateful and hopeful as ever. See you next year."

Crow not only attended in support of Fox and the fundraiser, but she urged her fans to support Fox's ongoing efforts to raise money to find a cure.
"What a beautiful night filled with inspiration and loving hearts!" Crow writes. "It was an honor to attend A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's in Nashville to celebrate [Michael J. Fox] and the Foundation's progress in its mission to end Parkinson's ... Thanks to [Fox], we're closer than ever to finding a cure. Learn more at michaeljfox.org."

The two are currently working together on this season of The Voice. Crow is serving as a Mega Mentor along with LeAnn Rimes. The singer is working with Ballerini and Michael Bublé's team.
Crow is grateful to be part of the hit TV show, 14 years after turning down a chance to be a coach for the inaugural season.
"I had a newborn and did not want to move back to L.A.," Crow tells People. "Actually, that's not true. [Levi] was about two years old, and I didn't want to move back to L.A., and so I didn't do it. And I have not really entertained it since then because we have a busy life here and normalcy is really lovely."
