Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley have taken the next step in their celebrity relationship as they took their first steps on the red carpet together as a couple. Hurley's son, Damian, also joined the stars.

On May 24, the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer was accompanied by the Gossip Girl alum on the red carpet for the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition at Palazzo Barberini in Rome. The public has known about their relationship since April, thanks to an Easter post, although it's unknown exactly how long they've been together.
The couple were very stylishly dressed, as was Damian. While ol' Billy Ray donned all-black southern attire, Hurley wore a bright pink dress with sleeves that morphed into a shawl as they draped over her shoulders.
Damian was definitely the best-dressed, however, with a striking red suit.
A couple's first time on the red carpet together is typically a big deal for the Hollywood types. Of course, the average Joe won't really care, but I suppose this will bring assurance to fans of both celebrities that their relationship is going well.
Also, an outing with his girlfriend's adult son after a relatively short relationship is a big deal. I wonder if connecting with Damian Hurley is what's been spurring the artist to reconnect with his own children.

Many fans are beside themselves that someone would date Billy Ray Cyrus.
