The country music superstar is by now a pro at making music. Surprisingly, she finds there isn't much of a difference between creating records and designing jewelry pieces.
"It's the mindset that I go into whenever I'm writing a record," Wilson tells People. "I want to make sure that I'm not just writing music for one particular kind of woman. I want to make sure that I'm saying something that everybody can kind of latch onto and connect to. And somehow we have managed to do that with this jewelry collection."
As she does with her own style, Wilson is not holding back in the items she designs for her new jewelry line.
"I'm a sucker for anything that sparkles, anything that shines, and I love the Western way of life," Wilson explains. "I love blending those things together, and I feel like I kind of do that with my music anyway. Specifically, with a song called 'Bell Bottoms Up.' You can almost hear the glitter and the glam."

Lainey Wilson is sporting her own big ring right now, but she didn't design it. Wilson is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Devlin "Duck" Hodges, although she admits they aren't far along in the wedding planning.
"We really haven't even gotten started yet, but it's all good," Wilson tells Pure Country Radio. "We're just taking our time. I told him, everything else is a big old to-do, we might as well just... I want it to be about what it's supposed to be about. Of course, a party, we're going to have a party."
Wilson also isn't in a hurry, which she attributes at least in part to how long it took Hodges to propose.
"[Duck] is gonna kill me, but I told him I'm gonna make him wait," Wilson tells Country Living. "He made me wait for 4 years. I'm gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing. We hadn't really covered any ground on it just yet, but we're taking our time and it's gonna be right and it's gonna be beautiful, and what it's supposed to be about."
