Luke Bryan is overcoming some serious health challenges, after he was recently diagnosed with COVID. Bryan refunded one show, as he was losing his voice, later canceling or postponing some more shows while he recovered.

Bryan recently revealed he had COVID, so fans would understand why he might not sound his best. For Bryan, it was his only option, since he vows he will never, ever lip sync.
"At this point, I'll never dive into the lip-syncing world," Bryan tells Taste of Country Nights.
"You'll always be hearing me, whether it's a little froggy or not. ... I'll never try to fool anybody or sing around it," he adds.
Ironically, Bryan finds that sometimes admitting he is struggling actually helps him sing better.
"Sometimes you're so stressed about not being able to sing like you want to," Bryan says. "If you tell the fans you're under the weather, it relaxes you a little bit. And I'll actually just start relaxing and singing better."
Luke Bryan Resumes Country Song Came On Tour
Bryan resumed his Country Song Came On Tour last month, after taking several weeks off to focus on his healing. Unfortunately, he had an unexpected ending to one of his recent shows, when he was hit in the face while singing "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)."
Ever the professional, Bryan kept on singing. Still, the 49-year-old admits he wishes he knew who threw it at him.
"You hope that you can see who did it," Bryan tells Taste of Country. "I mean, if I saw him throw it, I could have gone right to him. I probably would have jumped right off in there."
The father of two goes on to add that it's probably better for everyone that he never found the assailant.
"If I jump off in there ... there were a lot of little kids down there," Bryan acknowledges. "At that point, if I'd even stopped it and pointed somebody out, it kills the vibe of the show."
"It's the last song of the night," he remarks. "It was a big ol' fun party, and I think one person just took it too far."
