Gavin Adcock fooled some fans with a recent photo he posted on social media. In the picture, Adcock is sporting a bruised eye, along with a cut on his lip and his forehead. Adcock captioned the photo with just an expletive, but it wasn't long before fans caught on that it was actually make-up used for an upcoming video.

"Good makeup artist!" Cant wait to see the video brother! Killin the game," one person writes.
"Told you [to] not go walking alone at night in Nashville. Beyonce put the hit out on you," says another person.
"Beyoncé found you," one fan quips.

While Adcock doesn't say what the make-up is actually for, it's likely for a video from his next album. Adcock just signed with Morgan Wallen's Sticks Management. Own Worst Enemy, Adock's third studio album, and his second on Warner Nashville, will be out on Friday, August 15.
Gavin Adcock And His Take On Beyoncé's Country Album
Adcock made headlines recently, not for his music, but for Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter. The album won Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the recent Grammy Awards. Adcock later openly criticized Beyoncé taking home two trophies in the country category.
"That sh-- ain't country music," Adcock said at the time. "And it ain't ever been country music, and it ain't gonna be country music."
Adcock later followed up on his statements, criticizing the pop star.
"When I was a little kid, my mama was blasting some Beyoncé in the car," Adcock says, defending his statement. "I've heard a ton of Beyoncé songs, and I actually remember her Super Bowl Halftime Show being pretty kick-a-- back in the day. But I really don't believe her album should be labeled as country music.
"It doesn't sound country," he continues. "It doesn't feel country, and I just don't think that people that have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and this lifestyle should have to compete or watch that album just stay at the top just because she's Beyoncé."
Adcock recently released "Morning Bail" from Own Worst Enemy.
