When FBI Director Kash Patel is in the news, it's usually because of some crime being investigated by the agency. But lately, his private life has come into the spotlight as well. He is reportedly dating a country music singer named Alexis Wilkins, per The Daily Beast. According to the outlet, "Wilkins, 26, began dating Patel, 45, in January 2023 after meeting at a mutual friend's house party in Nashville." She resides in Music City some of the time, and in Washington, D.C., with Patel the rest of the time.

Patel and Wilkins' Age Gap Draws Attention
There is a 19-year age difference between them. Wilkins deflected the chatter per the outlet via The Daily Mail. "There are a lot of people in this administration with age differences. There are a lot of people out there with age differences," she pointed out.
Among them are President Donald Trump, who is 79, and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, 55. Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, is 27. Her husband, Nicholas Riccio, is 59. That makes a 32-year age difference between them. They tied the knot in January of this year.
Wilkins continued, "I feel like [within] a couple minutes talking to me, you probably couldn't picture me dating a 26-year-old. So it's always made a lot of sense to us and our friends and everyone around us. And there's really no need to justify things like that."
She Gets Called a "Honeypot"
She also objects to getting derisively labeled a "honeypot" from detractors on social media. Wilkins shared, "I've blocked the word 'honeypot' from my Instagram comments, if that tells you anything." According to The Daily Beast, "Wilkins said she had been dating Patel before he went from aide to President Trump to FBI director, so the 'honeypot' accusations would have seen her playing 'a huge long-game.'"
Wilkins explained, "The fact that people are trying to point to anything other than just the actual facts of everything is pretty thin."
Wilkins Says She Receives Flak for Her Conservative Political Beliefs
The singer says she has encountered pushback for her conservative political leanings. She claims that she has been asked to remove the American flag from her social media, per Wide Open Country via foxnews.com. It's evident that this is someone of character who will not budge when it comes to her most meaningful core values.
Wilkins said, "I was told to take an American flag out of my Instagram bio, or that I had to support certain things or do certain things in order to get booked on tours, in order to get signed to a label. There are things that ultimately have to give up, and I wasn't willing to do that and bend the knee to that."
