Carrie Underwood is officially entering her grandma era. The 41-year-old shares a photo on her Instagram Stories, showing off yet another homemaking skill: crocheting!

"Granny hobbies in full swing! Someday, she'll grow up to be a blanket," Underwood captions the photo, using the hashtags #Crochet, #StillLearning and #PennyLikesIt, the latter a reference to her sweet little dog.

Crocheting isn't Underwood's only skill. She frequently shows off her kitchen creations, including baking bread, canning food and more. She also is a pretty adept farmer, taking care of her 400 acres, along with her husband, Mike Fisher. She even says she hopes to one day not have to buy anything from the store.
Carrie Underwood on American Idol
Underwood won't have a lot of time to focus on her homemaking over the next several weeks. The mother of two is part of the new season of American Idol, serving as a judge for Season 23 along with Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
"I think I can be honest and constructive, but still kind," Underwood says on SiriusXM's Music Row Happy Hour. "I think that's the whole point 'cause people are coming in, and you know ... it's dreams. You're a part of somebody's story from that moment on. I think it's important to be honest, but I think it's also very important to be kind. Hopefully, I can marry all of those together."
Underwood has already been seen getting emotional with some of the aspiring singers, including one singer who paid tribute to his teacher's late son. Slater Nalley performed a song that began as a poem written by Mrs. Davis, his English teacher. She penned the song about her son, Carter, who was tragically murdered.
"Even though this was about your son, every single person that hears that can fill in that memory with somebody that's in themselves," Underwood says with tears. "I couldn't imagine you doing that any better."
Underwood is filling the seat left vacant when Katy Perry exited the show after last season.
"She was born on that show. I think she knows how to steer it," Perry tells People. "She actually truly knows... What it feels like to be in their shoes. We could only metaphorically feel that as judges."
American Idol airs Sunday nights on ABC at 8:00 PM ET.
