Chris Young has been part of country music since winning Nashville Star in 2006, but he will soon celebrate a career first. Young recently announced It Must Be Christmas - An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young, marking Young's inaugural Christmas tour.

"Christmas is probably my favorite holiday," Young says. "Music was always heavily tied to the spirit of the season for me, so I can't wait to celebrate that feeling with everyone out on the road this year!"
Young also shares his excitement about the tour on social media, revealing he will play songs from his 2016 Christmas record.
"I'm so excited to share that I will be heading out on an acoustic Christmas tour this year!" Young gushes. "I'll be playing songs from my holiday album It Must Be Christmas and all your other faves."
It Must Be Christmas features classics like "The Christmas Song" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas," along with two original songs, including the title track.
Young's Christmas tour begins on November 20 in Iowa.

Young's holiday album isn't the only new thing he has to look forward to in 2025. His new I Didn't Come Here To Leave album will be out on October 17. The record is his first on Black River Entertainment, after spending his entire career on RCA Nashville.
"I was just gonna take a whole bunch of meetings," Young tells Taste of Country Nights, explaining his move. "My very first meeting was with Black River Entertainment. Sat with them for three hours. Played the new music -- they loved all the songs. They gave me everything I asked for and more."
I Didn't Come Here To Leave includes Young's current single, "'Til The Last One Dies." The song is also another career first of sorts for Young.
"Songs like this don't come along every day, and I haven't released a 'wedding love song' in a while," he says. "Those songs are a core part of who I am as an artist. I've been doing this for a long time, and yet this feels like a new chapter. It's invigorating for me as a creator."
