Morgan Wallen checks all our boxes. He can be a little rebellious and loves to stay out late during work trips. Wallen took his album I'm The Problem out of Grammy consideration. He also sticks up for his friends and has been known to have a sensitive side. The "Superman" singer may even be a member of the Illuminati (if it exists). But most importantly, Wallen tries to put some good into the world.

To sum it up, we can see why anyone would have a crush on him—even Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. Perhaps that's why the nu-metal icon just released the new single, "Making Love to Morgan Wallen."
A title like that certainly has our attention. But what does the song mean? Here's our take.
The Song Could Be For A New Limp Bizkit
"Making Love to Morgan Wallen" appears on the Battlefield 6 soundtrack, an upcoming first-person shooter video game set in a future conflict between a private military company and NATO.
The single is Limp Bizkit's first song in four years. Honestly, that feels like forever in the age of streaming, as singers seem to come out with new songs every few months. The band has also been teasing an album since 2023, so this could be the first taste of what's to come.
The Track Isn't Really About Morgan Wallen
Durst doesn't mention Wallen until the end of the song. In fact, the lyrics start out with tributes to Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and David Bowie.
"Damn, I miss you, Chester / Sending love from a bass compressor (Love you)
Ground control with a soul like Bowie / And I'll chop you up, if I'm under pressure"
Durst continues to spit lyrics over exploding metal guitars. He references questionable moments from the band's history, like that time Napster sponsored one of its tours. It all culminates in a chorus that encapsulates Limp Bizkit's chart success.
"Hey, ladies /Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
When you're hot, you're hot (Yeah) / When you're not, you're not (Nope)
Hey, fellas / Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
When you're hot, you're hot (Yeah) / When you're not, you're not"
The song ends with: "I make this motherf---er diamond plated / Makin' love to Morgan Wallen in an elevator / I'll be turnin' on you b-tches like a generator / I'll be the greatest motherf---er that you ever hated."
We can only assume that Durst threw in the line to get people to listen to the song, hence the reference to "diamond-plated." A song is certified Diamond when it reaches 15 billion streams.
As for the "greatest motherf---er that you ever hated" bit, the "Nookie" singer hasn't received much love since the band's heyday in the 2000s. Wallen has had his moments, too. He didn't win over a lot of fans when he threw chairs off the roof of Eric Church's bar or was caught using racial slurs. Yet, Wallen is breaking records.
Sounds like Durst wants to be relevant again. He desires the bulletproof image Wallen has, and he's willing to name-drop him in a song to get it.
