“I Think It’s Wrong”: Gavin Adcock Keeps Talking About Beyoncé's ‘Cowboy Carter’ Album

Gavin Adcock just can't stop talking about Beyoncé.

The outspoken singer continues to stir the pot, whether it's with Beyoncé fans or with Charley Crockett for defending her.

On a recent episode of Rolling Stone's Nashville Now podcast to promote his new album, the "Own Worst Enemy" singer doubled down on why he thinks Cowboy Carter "ain't country music."

A Seemingly One-Sided Feud That's Been Going on for Months

This whole thing between Adcock and Beyoncé began in June (!) at one of the "Morning Bail" singer's shows. In a viral clip, Adcock, while holding a whiskey bottle, said of Cowboy Carter: "That s**t ain't country music, and it ain't never been country music, and it ain't never gonna be country music."

In the weeks since, Adcock has continued to add fuel to the fire with video after video slamming the album. With his latest album coming out just last week, Adcock certainly knew how to get everyone's attention.

We haven't heard if Beyoncé has ever responded to Adcock's comments. She has said Cowboy Carter was inspired by a moment when she "did not feel welcomed" in country music and that it "ain't a Country album."

The album has topped Billboard's Country Albums chart. It also earned the artist her first Grammy award for Album of the Year.

What Did Adcock Say About Beyoncé Now?

For his part, Adcock's beef with Beyoncé doesn't have to do with the singer herself. His feelings stem from her "invading" the country genre.

"I feel like she was like, 'I'm gonna go over here and do this just so I can p*** these people off,'" he said during his podcast interview.

He added in another part of the podcast, "I don't think Beyoncé cares about country fans. I think she has brought over pop fans to make whatever music she wants to make, and I think it's wrong."

Would Adcock Welcome Beyoncé Fans to His Shows?

When asked if those who don't agree with his opinion on Beyoncé or the state of country music would be invited to his shows, Adcock said, "Anytime."

But then he added a warning.

"They better get ready for the environment," he explained. "It's just a beer-soaked, rowdy, cussin', hell-raising environment where people are just throwing down. It's an experience. I sell T-shirts that say 'I Survived a Gavin Adcock Concert' at my merch table."

Just so you know, you can also get a T-shirt of Adcock's mugshot, which was taken after his arrest for reckless driving in May.
