Kelsea Ballerini was put on the spot when a fan asked her to sign her divorce decree during a concert. And not just throw an autograph on a piece of paper, but to actually sign it.

The country singer has been synonymous with divorce since her public split with Morgan Evans in 2022. It's been some years now, and her fans still get her to sing "Penthouse" whenever she performs. In one recent concert, she admitted that she only sings the song for her fans now and that she's fully moved on.
During the past weekend, Ballerini set up shop briefly in Salt Lake City. And despite her wanting to move past her divorce, one fan wanted her to help with his own.
In a TikTok video that's gone viral, a fan is recorded asking Kelsea Ballerini to sign her divorce decree. He set up a TikTok live of his own and help up a sign. It read, "Will you help finish rolling up my welcome mat and sign my divorce decree?"
Referencing Ballerini's divorce EP, the fan literally wanted her help.
In the video, Kelsea Ballerini gets overwhelmed and confused as she tries to get to the bottom of the nature of his request. Naturally, she didn't want to sign anything legal, although she was in two minds about it.

Kelsea Ballerini Wants Everyone To Move On From Her Divorce
Ultimately, she decides not to sign the divorce decree, and for a couple reasons.
Ballerini was hesitant due to her lack of legal knowledge, but also because she is "really excited to stop being the poster child for divorce."
"But I'm really happy for you, and I'm sorry you went through that and I'm gonna write you a little letter on the back. And you're gonna get someone legal to sign it."
Kelsea Ballerini has already moved on from her divorce, and it's about time her fans did, too. The songs about her divorce may be relatable to her fans, but the singer is trying to move on from this era of her life and career.
