Is Beyonce Struggling To Sell Out Her 'Cowboy Carter' Tour? Report Suggests So

With neither of her stadium tours selling out tickets, Beyoncé seems to be falling from grace with her fans. But, I feel there are some good reasons for it.

One of the driving factors behind the Beyoncé Cowboy Carter tour not selling out is the astronomical prices being charged. Fans were shocked to find that even standing seats would set them back $300. That was before resale.

A regular seat somewhere you wouldn't need an oxygen mask to sing along could rack up a solid $800 bill. I know that artists are much more heavily reliant on tour money than ever, but Beyoncé isn't exactly strapped. Her high ticket prices seem greedy. I know a few people are not buying her tour tickets out of principle.

Although Beyoncé claimed her Cowboy Carter album wasn't country, it still took home a fair few awards for that category. The album took the "Best Country Album" and "Album of the Year" Grammy. But, although it was highly praised by the Grammys, it didn't stick in the charts.

Whenever Beyoncé drops a new album, it hangs around in the Billboard charts like a bad smell. But, Cowboy Carter was completely out of the Billboard 200 charts in only 28 weeks. People simply weren't that into it. The lack of interest is probably aiding in her lack of Cowboy Carter tour ticket sales. $300+ for a mediocre album? No thanks.

The Beyoncé PR Team Has Their Excuses

There have also been rumors that it was all Ticketmaster's fault. Their site, which is notoriously awful to navigate, was said to have crashed. However, Ticketmaster has come out and said that there was no truth in this.

The lack of initial Cowboy Carter tour ticket sales was blamed on a faulty site. But, the company denied these claims, even releasing a statement. It is suspected that Beyoncé's PR team released these rumors to hide their shame at low sales.

The London branch of the Cowboy Carter Beyoncé tour tickets are the ones refusing to move most. But, living in the UK is not an easy situation at the moment. Traveling across the country is brutally expensive, London accommodation for even a night will be hundreds of dollars, and the tickets on top of that make for a single event costing close to $1000. For most, this album tour simply isn't worth it.
